Robyn Roche-Paull, IBCLC  addresses hazmat exposures, firefighting and breastfeeding in one of her speaking sessions.. she may be the best person to ask for info..

This is from page 42 of a FEMA document on women in the fire service:

For the nursing mother, the risk continues after the child is born. Studies on cigarette smoking and other chemical exposures make it appear likely that the same or similar chemicals in the fire environment are passed on to the infant through maternal milk.9
