I too have personally experienced these teeth marks.  Most time, just
releasing suction and re-latching has done the trick.  (I still get them
occasionally at 22 months!)  I think it is from a nice deep latch, then  using gums-now
teeth-to "hold" the breast in the mouth when they are taking a  little break.
