As seen in recent posts, research on HIV and mother's milk is imperative.
Biochemistry background would be wonderful, too!
My specific questions are about heat treating expressed milk, as well as
checking for HIV virus in room temperature/refrigerated/and frozen EBM (room
temp especially so that women living without refrigeration have a chance to
breastmilk feed their babies)

BTW, did anyone else see "Chicago Hope(less)" last night- yes I like to
torture myself- There is a female Doc (the same one who berated the mother of
the dehydrated/starved BF baby last year) who helps to deliver her friend's
baby via C-section. The friend is HIV+. The doc gets cut "to the bone"
during delivery, must then get the course of meds (presume AZT/cocktail).
When the doc tells that she is breastfeeding, she is told "I suggest you stop
that immediately" (in addition to not having sexual intercourse for six
months). Of course, the show does not explore what "stopping that" will mean
for this mother or her baby, nor what the risks are.
