I wrote an article for our daily newspaper, the Penticton Herald, that ran
yesterday under the headline, "Breast milk just what doctor ordered" with
the subtitle, also in bold, "Expert says formula just doesn't cut it when it
comes to giving babies immunity they need for good health." The prominent
sidebar is titled "Lactation failure rare occurrence."

I wrote the article based on an interview with Jack Newman, and as a regular
freelance writer for this paper, it was an interesting experience to write
this one. It was necessary to set aside my own opinions and style of
presenting the facts, and my own personal opinion about the use of the 'f'
word. When I write an article I try to take myself out of the article, and
write according to the interview - and that was hard to do here.

The paper's web site is down, but I'd be happy to email a text-only version
of the story to anyone who would like to have a look and give me an opinion.

And if you are on here, Jack, I did save you a hard copy.
