I like Janice Berry's approach to educating her FP.  Doctors can (and do!)
learn a lot of things from their patients.  Continuing to supply the doctor
with accurate breastfeeding information helps to counter the dearth of such
education in medical school and residency.
It's sometimes customary to give physicians who refer to you or to whom you
refer holiday gifts.  Hale's book is one of my favorites to give.  Much
better than cakes, candy, and cookies--you can tell them you're helping them
to gain knowledge instead of weight over the holidays.
