Hi!
This could be an allergy to something in mom's diet. My exclusively breastfed 6 month old has cows milk allergy (two other kids did not have it). It started with green stools that sometimes had blood in them when she was 2 months old. I read about it and figured it out. I stopped eating all dairy, it took 3 weeks for stools to become yellow again. That is how long it takes for milk protein to get out of your and baby's system. I tried several times to test whether it was cows milk, even eating a piece of milk chocolate or waffles that contained milk protein in them created similar reaction for a couple of days. Same reaction to goat cheese. I use Triple Paste medicated ointment for diaper rash, works great. I also realized baby had slight nasal congestion because of the allergy. Hope this helps.
Olga
