The mother of a 5 month old has a sinus infection. She's been prescribed
cefuroxime and told she can nurse once a day. I read to her from Hale, and
also told her there are lots of cephalosporins, many of which have been
reviewed and approved by the AAP.

Is this likely to be an ok antibiotic choice for her? Does it make more
sense for her just to start it and monitor the baby for reactions, or should
she seek a different antibiotic right from the start? (It's 8:30 at night
and she has a 101 degree fever; certainly the *simplest* course of action
is for her to fill the prescription and crawl into bed.)
