I have actually been looking into this latley. I am contacting some of
my local LC's, to see if they would do some what of an apprenticeship.
Is this the way I should go? I was speaking today with some one who said
phone calls are not counted into your hours, is this true? I spend most
of my time on the phone with my moms because of distance. That is why I
have been interestedin something like an apprenticeship. I also belive
in watching someone whom is verry good at there job, to show you that
you to can be your verry best. That is why I want to be an LC is to show
moms they can take control & live in harmony with there family.

 Today we had our monthly support group ( which will be cut in June). It
was on puming which I do not know much about machine pumping. Is it true
that there is some companies out there that make pumps to fail so that
the mom will turn to ABM? They never take the stops out do they. Also
one of the mothers that attended got a phamphlet about breastfeeding
your infant written by of course an ABM company, both by the hospital
she deliverd at and her pediatritian (isnt this against WHO code).
Anyways it made her think she had a breast infection, hence her doctor
told her to stop breastfeeding....=*{. When she was having a wonderful
relationship with her child, THANK GOD she was smarter than to just
listen. To take charge and seek the truth. I wish more moms put in that
kind of effort...
