This mom needs to know if there are any laws protecting her right to
breastfeed/pump at work.
<<I have just returned to work after having my 3rd child and am finding it
difficult to have time to pump during the work day. After a returned to work
after having my second child I found that my boss was very supportive and
allowed me to pump my milk twice a day for 20 minutes. This time they are
only allowing me to take one 20 minute break when time permits and I am
usually feeling very full and uncomfortable either in the middle of my shift
or at the end. I should mention that I am an assistant manager for
McDonald's. Now after my return to work and having a different boss within
the same corporation, I am wondering if there are any laws regarding my right
to breastfeed my son and pumping my milk at work. My son is only 2 months
old and due to my lack of time to pump at work I am having to start to
supplement 1/2 breast milk and 1/2 formula. I should also mention that I
just returned to work this week. My boss is also giving me almost a hassled
kind of attitude because I have to take a break to pump my milk. I enjoy
breastfeeding and want to continue comfortably. I nursed my daughter until
she was a year old and would like to do the same with my newborn son. Please
send me any information regarding any laws that you may know of that would
help my situation.

Thanks,
Columbus, Ohio >>

Any info would be greatly appreciated.
