I have found it to be extremely beneficial.  Also, www.naturalchild.com has
several articles written by James McKenna providing cosleeping information
for parents.  His sites are fabulous!  I am always grateful to find
evidence-based information that is readily accessible.
    As the US Consumer Product Safety Commission officially opposes
cosleeping, our awareness of Dr. Mckenna's studies is important.  Sharing
this information with physicians, OB units, parents and others can influence
parent-infant sleep practices.
