Please don't get me wrong--I am greatly disturbed by the Ezzos, their
programs and everything they stand for.

However, I must say, I think having a policy of reporting and every case that
of possible
FTT that comes your way might be a knee-jerk reaction.

Some parents who after hearing correct infomation may choose to change their
feeding
method if approached in a non-threatening manner.

I think a viable alternative would be to report to the infant's physician who
is required to
report to CPS if he is suspicious of anything.

If word gets out that an LC or any HCP for that matter routinely reports
parents to CPS,
no one will wish to seek out your help or advice--Ezzo parents or not.  I'm
not saying that
it isn't warrented or even essential in some cases but I would hate to see
anyone become too hasty on this.
