Hi fellow lactnetters,

I have a mother in Adelaide, Australia with a breastfeeding problem
I hope somebody can help me with.

Mother has a 7 wk old baby and gets whole body aches and pains
every time she breastfeeds. She experiences aching from the top
of her head to the tips of her toes. Sometimes the aching is only
on the side of her body that she is breastfeeding on.

It seems to me that it is a reaction to oxytocin. But what is the
antidote ? If I don't come up with a solution she will give up
breastfeeding, which would be a pity because she has a great
supply and the baby is growing well.

Please can anyone help ?

TIA

Merry Christmas.
