JoAnne:  ROFLOL about the gum sticking to the breast--yes...it is definitely
a new benchmark in our family.  We're now "encouraging" potty training and
I'm "using" the gum as an incentive.  Our #3rd and final baby is definitely
content to be the "baby" of the family for a long time.  I, on the other
hand, am quite tired of diapers.  He can nurse however long he wants if we
can just get over the diapers.   Right now he actually takes his sugarless
gum out and holds it to nurse.

I wonder how many others out there have their own "new benchmarks" of
readiness to wean??
