There is a new service called Google Helpouts, which they advertise as
being real help from real people. Providers can sign up to provide "help"
on all kinds of topics, from lawn care to Calculus homework help. People
can sign up to have basically an online appointment using Google Hangouts
(which is sort of like skype). There is an entire Health category on which
there are doctors, nutritionists, personal trainers, etc. Google wants to
ensure that the people signing up as providers are legitimate, so they
screen all of the providers.

USLCA sent out an email saying that members could sign up as providers, or
maybe apply to. I think it is an interesting concept, but I just think it
is tricky. Are there others who already provide lactation support via
phone or similar technology?
