Dear Lactnetters,

Mother's permission to post. I've read the archives re: bloody stools and
have dealt with it before, but never in a 24 hour old, term, infant. Weeks
old, yes, but when only dealing with colostrum? I know it can be mother's
diet and lactose related, as well as a host of bacterial infections, and a
few odd syndromes...

Babe's bloody stools decreasing with soy formula, and mom is pumping and
saving at this point. Does not eat/drink much in way of milk products, but
definitely going on a lactose free diet.

Any other suggestions/ideas?

Many thanks for wisdom in advance...
