Another white, male speaker possibility would be Gary Freed, MD from the
University of Michigan. He had a lot of excellent publications (including in
JAMA) on physicians' lack of breastfeeding knowledge and skills. I have
heard him speak-- very engaging and friendly and practical. His talk focused
on practical ways doctors can help moms with breastfeeding. I would highly
recommend him (of course, along with Dr. Gardner). I believe his residency
was in Texas and fellowship in N. Carolina. Good luck!!!!
