I've noticed this, on the adoptive breastfeeding sites.   Any time anyone is having latch problems, of almost any kind, someone suggests that the baby has a tongue or lip tie.  There have been quite a few who have had ties clipped, many of whom haven't found any improvement.   I'm anxious to see what discussion follows, and hope to use that to help the adoptive moms I'm always in contact with.
