For 50 years LLL has stated that 4-7 oz per week is appropriate baby gain 
and I'll stick by their opinion. It has always been appropriate.  Babies are 
individuals, with different genetic histories, and grow appropriately at own 
rate if have adequate access to the breast!  My other point is that someone 
has to be on the 5% line to balance the kids on the 95% line!  It is a 
curve.  That implies differences :-) Pat in SNJ
