An unidentified individual wrote, in part, in criticism of the Milk
Exchange,
"We are no longer talking about just alternative nutrition
here, we are also talking about medicinal therapy and an ongoing
tissue transplant."
Does the medical community really view milk from a woman other than one's
biological mother an "ongoing tissue transplant"? That sound's absurd to
me, but maybe I am being naive. Do these babies require drugs to keep them
from rejecting this "foreign" milk? Should babies fed ABM (as well as any
cow's milk drinker) be treated as if they were receiving cross species
tissue transplants? Am I missing something in my complete lack of medical
background?
