I am currently studying to become a lactation consultant. My degree is in Education with an early childhood specialization. I have the same concern. We live in a town of about 80,000. Will I be able to get a job when I am finished? This is what I want to do - I am very passionate about it and have nursed my own 2 children to a year old and I am currently nursing my 2 month old. But I do not have the luxury of working without a salary. I need to be able to help support my family. Where should I start to research the job opportunity my community currently has? Sarah
