Laurie's comment on bras has given me the impetus to ask if any of you
knows of a bra which is designed for a size 40 B, not heavy or with a great
amount of coverage like the 18-hr kind. (I can still remember my
grandmother in her corsets and industrial-strength bras.) I am fairly big
around, but have a small cup size. I have looked in GB, France, and in the
US where I have lived or visited (VA, TN, NC, SC, mostly). V-------'s
S----- has lots of lovely colors, and my dh would enjoy the styles, but they
aren't in my size!
I saw a cartoon once in which a well-endowed woman took off her bra, and her
breasts unrolled across the floor. I'm not that large or quite that saggy,
but I'd probably benefit appearance-wise from an underwire--just can't get
used to the things. I really don't like to wear white because they show
through my clothing, and surely it's not too much to ask for front opening.
I realize this is a bit personal, but where else to get help for formerly
lactating breasts?
