Hi Judy,

OK, I'm not saying that Coca Cola is a health food, but what was forwarded to
you and which appears at the bottom of your post is an urban legend. I
checked this out on the Urban Legends site of About.com. If you go to <A
HREF="http://urbanlegends.about.com/science/urbanlegends/cs/fooddrink/index_2.

htm">Food & Drink Legends - page 2 of 2</A> of about.com and scroll down to
Cokelore, you can find a debunking of this legend. Or you can go straight to
<http://www.snopes2.com> and scroll down to Cokelore. It's the same page as
is found on the about.com urban legends site. The "Acid" page repeats
verbatim what was forwarded and pretty thoroughly refutes it.

Btw, I heard some of this same stuff recently from my 17 year old daughter so
apparently it's making the rounds again.

Warmly,
Carol Kelley
