My lactation consultant suggested I post this question here.

I heard that it was possible to donate milk for pre-mature infants,
chemotherapy patients and others who need the boost of mother's milk.

How do I become involved with this?
Are there any special requirements for the collection, storage or my
nutrition while involved in this program?

I am currently pumping while at work and a steady backlog of milk is
building in the deep freeze. I wouldn't want the milk to go to waste and I
suspect that my baby may never eat all that milk we have in storage (though
I may be wrong!).
