My children are not only breastfeeding zealots but also natural birth
zealots. Here are a couple of things they have said that I think were
absolutely wonderful.

My oldest (now 17) was once interviewed by a local news station. They were
doing a spot on the decline in milk drinking among school kids. He was
singled out by his health teacher as a kid who won't touch the stuff. When
the asked him why he said "Because it is illogical for a human being to
drink something designed for baby cows."

My middle child (now 13) was once in on a dinner conversation about a
neighbor having a repeat C/Sect. He piped up, in front of my extended
family, and said "Well, I just don't believe in that: Once a C/section
always a C/section stuff." I told him I was going to sign him up for future
OBs of America!

Lately, my youngest child (10) asked for a CD by Brandy Spears. My Oldest
said "Of course we cannot buy it...she had a breast job and mom won't
support that. My daughter asked why. I said "Well, Brandy may not be able
to feed her own babies now." Enough said. Marita answered, "Oh, that's
awful. I don't want to support it either."
