I have tried looking this information up in the archives without any luck.
[I cannot get to them.]

Any way....I have a mom who is 28wks pregnant with baby #3. She nursed the
other two children until they were @3yrs. She woke up this morning with a
sore breast. When I went to pick up her 41/2 year old for the day I had a
look at it. She said she couldn't feel anything but when I was feeling
around I could feel a lump. She said it was quite painful. No red marks or
streaking. Her breast feels warm but not hot. I suggested lots of rest,
massage (if she can handle it), and heat. My question is "How common is
this during pregnancy?" "What causes it during preg.?" Do we treat it the
same as during lactation? But there is no infant to drain the duct?!"

Please help.
Thanx
Patricia
