"I have been asked by my supervisor to do a breastfeeding class for our
maternal child health staff ( this includes labor and delivery,
postpartum and nursery nurses) Just wondering if any of you have any tips
on this. I plan to cover the basics of cues, positioning, latch
etc..... what else it most important to cover in a short time?"

We recently had our hospital LC do two two-hour CNE programs to all of our
staff (read mandatory). She covered the basics on BF. She also used the
"Just one bottle" article from IO's website and Dr. Jack's "BF and Guilt"
article (from your website!) as handouts. If you'd like a copy of her
outline, we'd be happy to share it with you or anyone else. Just send me
your snail mail address.

Have fun!
