Today as I was leaving work one of the female physicians asked me if I knew
anyone who taught the Bradley method of prepared childbirth as she and her
husband are planning to become pregnant.  I mentioned something about many
women not interested in those method now because they want epidurals.  She
said "But it's so much better if you can do it without medication"  I
didn't know whether to hug her or faint.  It has been my experience that
many MD's opt for more medicalized births, so what a refreshing statement.
IS anyone familiar with the Bradley method? Could you e-mail me privately
so we can discuss it?  To link this to Breastfeeding, she wants an
unmedicated birth so she can have the best breastfeeding experience!!
