Ok, one more post tonight.

On the thread that began a couple of weeks ago and has developed into
similar threads, about when to begin offering complementary feeds to
healthy newborns (I believe one of the original posts was concerned about
only a few wet diapers in the early days). I know that at one time I had
been told to expect one wet diaper the first 24hr postpartum, 2 the second
24hrs, and then the "normal" 6 or more after that (when mature milk
production often begins). Is this information a) outdated, and b)
dangerous? This wet diaper count was in addition to frequent mec-filled
diapers (turning to less sticky and tar-like as mature milk began to flow).

I've been reading with interest. I hope that I haven't asked something that
has essentially been answered (be patient with me!)
