Hi all, I can remember clearly being 8yrs old and feeling my heart thumping
through my chest. I rushed home to mum and announced that I could feel my
milk filling my breasts! When mum gave birth to my sister when I was 11 she
didn't breastfeed for long and neither did she when she had 2 more babies. I
have ALWAYS been facinated by breasts and nurturing babies: i have probably
embarrassed many people by gazing at nursing couples over the years but, I
am still the same today. I loved breastfeeding my own children, I love
assisting mothers to achieve a breastfeeding relationship with their own
babies and I love teaching and talking and learning about it! I particularly
love talking about it with others who feel the same way about it-- so thank
you "netters". By the way Anna, I think you are wonderful to have fed your
babes whilst not really enjoying the experience. Good on you!
happy birthday to Linda Smith for 13th Dec. p.s. the baby I posted about a
couple of weeks ago with H.I.E. is slowly coming to the breast. Her
paediatician feels there may be a congenital genetic problem, chromosome 15
or something ( I shall have to look that one up). Regards to all, Ruth Leon.
