Does someone here know Dr. Lawrence well enough to invite her participation?
Maybe she could come onto Pedschat.   Maybe someone could compile our
concerns on Lactnet and send them to her asking for comments.

The article says "Dr. Ruth Lawrence, of the University of Rochester, on
Tuesday at the American Academy of Pediatrics meeting here.".  Was anyone on
Lactnet at that meeting?  Did the article accurately reflect what was said?
Was it a planned statement or extemporaneous?   Were other, more important
things said at this meeting but ignored by the news media, perhaps because
they were less sensational?  Was this "information" just more interesting
because it was more likely to grab attention and perhaps blown out of
proportion for that reason?

I don't think we should change our practices or our opinions about Dr.
Lawrence in any way simply based on a Reuters news story.
