Hello wonderful ladies. I've been on a bit of hiatus from here. I've read
here and there. You are so wise.

My question: in this article,

The Nutritive and Immunoprotective
Quality of Human Milk beyond 1 Year
Postpartum: Are Lactation-DurationBased Donor Exclusions Justified?
Maryanne Tigchelaar Perrin, MBA1, April Fogleman, PhD, RD, IBCLC1,
and Jonathan C. Allen, PhD

It says that the composition of fat will change depending on the weaning or
non-weaning time, including one sample of babies over 23 months.

Maybe it's because I was at a birth last night, but I thought anytime you
introduced food, you began the weaning process. But to include up to 23
months? Unless they compared milk at 3 months to milk at 23 months? My
tired brain isn't grasping it well.

Any help would be great.
