Hi Melissa,

I've had several moms with this issue, including myself! I suggest
starting small, like with 2 hours, and gradually increasing the time, to
comfort, until oversupply symptoms ease. For myself, I was block
feeding up to around 8 hours! I made enough milk for the neighborhood.
But it also resulted in a pukey baby with green poop, she was fussy, a
fussy nurser, shallow latch, etc. I wouldn't recommend to anyone else
that they block feed for 8 hours on one side, but that's what I had to
work up to, in order to get rid of the green poop. I also had the
benefit of a 2 year old who was still nursing.

I had overactive let down too, so I'm sure that contributed to my
daughter's fussiness, puking, etc. I couldn't even nurse her laying
down until she was about 3 months old because she would wind up puking
and crying! It stank.
