It is interesting to me, the results of your study. I work for Visiting Nurse
Service of NY in Queens, in a maternal and childhealth program. Most of the
women I work with are black and hispanic. I am always amazed how many more
black women I work with, chose to breastfeed, then the white women. I am
especially amazed at how many young teenage moms, chose to bf. I think some
of the black moms, have more support from older relatives, especially if they
are from other countries.
