I am a new subscriber. I've been reading and learning alot from all of you for
a few months. I am a pediatrician in Minnesota with a 9 month old patient whose
mother has just been sentenced to the workhouse (jail, for certain violations).
She will be there for 10 days. Baby is almost exclusively breastfed, getting a
little juice by cup, cereal, and vegetables once a day. She was denied house
arrest by the judge. What sort of recourse do we have? She is set to begin
sentance on 2/14. I have not talked with her case-worker yet.
