1. Importance of early, often and comfortable (comfortable means emotionally and physically comfortable, so surrounding herself with supportive people -- including you, including support group, etc.)
2. We can't guarantee that you won't have challenges, but we can reassure you that help is available so that you can learn to overcome them.
3. Breastfeeding is awesome, empowers women and contributes to a mother's self-esteem, a father's understanding and the well-being of the family.

Might I also add that Lactnet is important, that it provides us all with help and support early and often, so that we can become more comfortable. It empowers us and contributes to our self-esteem as health care professionals and breastfeeding supporters, it contributes to a global understanding of breastfeeding and to the well-being of humanity, and -- of course! -- it is truly, truly awesome.
