In a message dated 97-10-28 03:01:49 EST, you write:

Laurie and Netters. Hopefully my post went through about the BEST materials
from ROSS. (since we are occasionally having difficulty sending things) The
training materials in one of the booklets is labeled "How To Breastfeed Your
Baby in a Rainbow of Languages". The first sheet is in English. It is
titled "How to Breastfeed Your Baby". The highlighted areas state "Breast
milk (not one word) is the only food your baby needs in the first 4 to 6
months of life". "Make sure your nipple and most of the dark skin around it
are in the baby's mouth." "Look for these signs that your baby is getting
enough breast milk: ". " Try to burp your baby between feeding at each
breast and when the feeding is done". "If one or both of your breasts become
sore:....". "Do not take any drugs or medicines unless you check with your
health care professional." and added after the highlighted on that one is :
Do not drink alcohol or smoke cigarettes during the time you are
breastfeeding". (which I posted before) grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr. This sheet is
double-sided with pictures and may be photocopied. To follow are the 16
sheets in various languages. INCREDIBLE !!!!!!!
PS- I am recertified as IBCLC-glad that one is over. Doesn't matter how many
yrs. you have been in the field.
