I have had several mothers want to try domperidone but their doctors have refused to write a prescription.  My most recent client said her doctor
had not heard of the drug (this is the most frequent response) but would check on it.  After the doctor called the pharmacist she called the mom
and said that the pharmacist told her that it is illegal to prescribe.  So, she prescribed Reglan instead.  Mom really doesn't want to use this but
took the prescription anyway.

I was wondering, are their any physicians on our list who might be willing to speak with another physician to give their views on domperidone or to
help the reluctant physician to feel more comfortable about prescribing?  This is, of course, if the physician to which I send a formal letter would
even be willing to contact another about it.
