Maybe I am displaying my ignorance, but:
A lactation consultant is part of the Medical Team.
She should have access to the patient's medical records.
If the record states mom has active Hep B, isn't that
necessary medical information that providers NEED
to know?
I don't see how that could be a BREECH
of confidentiality.
Can someone please fill me in? (I'm NOT being
sarcastic; I'm very serious!)
