I agree Gonneke.
If the pumps are not safe for a multiple users because of the possibility
of infection then surely they are not safe for a single user either and
from what Medela has put in their warning they would not be. If Medela or
any of the other companies cannot explain why this would not be so then it
must be because they have a vested interest in the single use of these
appliances. If there is another reason I would really like to know what it
is. This also does not explain why pumps that are intended for multiple use
cannot be sold on ebay either?
