Yes, I agree it looks a great device but unfortunately I can't see any of
these cots being purchased by my hospital in the near future--it may make
the issue of guidelines a lot easier.  However, apart from the UK BFHI
Unicef protocol I am yet to locate any individual hospital with a formal
protocol or guideline in support of co-sleeping while in hospital.  I would
still appreciate any protocols ( or summaries of protocols) on the subject,
particularly Australian.  From the private emails I have received, I gather
a number of other Lactnetters are also interested.  A colleague of mine from
another hospital has recently rung a number of hospitals Australia wide
recently and failed to locate any written guidelines in support of
co-sleeping for breastfeeding mothers.
