Brenda's experience echoes my own -- takes a few years to get up-and-running
as an IBCLC, even part-time (which is the way I have chosen to conduct my
business.

This is true of ANY starting-out small business owner, selling ANY product
or service:  the first 2-3 years are often in the red, even in "good"
economic times.

It's not just us IBCLCers who have a tough time getting a business off the
ground.
