Since there has been all the discussion about the poor baby being medicated for
spitting up (!) I thought people might be interested in a wonderful and
informative (and long) post from Maryelle Vonlanthen, a pediatric
gastroenterologist who used to be on Lactnet.  Unfortunately I only saved it on
paper or I'd just post it again.  It was posted June 2, 1995 if anyone would
like to get the digests for that week (much less volume of mail back then).  She
gave lots of info on GER, how to treat (what works and what doesn't), whether to
treat, and info about meds.  It was superb!
