Hi,
Has this mother figured out WHY she has this excema?  Could this be an
allergic reaction to something she is eating...like dairy?  I would suggest
to her to look into changing her diet, looking for food allergies etc to
help with this.

As far as BF with cortizone cream, I have done it on a number of occasions,
and have seen no problem.  However, the excema I had was minor, and I used
the cream very sparingly.

I am looking forward to others reccomendations on this as well...
