The hospital system I work for is looking into the logistics of becoming
Baby Friendly. We do not anticipate a problem for the maternity units and
hospitals in the system. However, what about the regional NICU and
Children's hospital. They see very early premies and all kinds of sick
children. They use many specialized formulas and fortifiers. Does Baby
Friendly apply to them, or is it just for birthing centers? Does anyone
work in this type of Level 4 hospital that has become Baby Friendly?
