Hello
I have had two patients this week tell me that a nurse told them to drink a beer to increase their milk supply. These patients have babies in the NICU. My response is that there are so many variables in the situation that we can't just say one thing will help, and I am concerned about mothers of premature babies being told to do this. There is also no evidence based research...just theoretical ideas about the hops, barley, relaxation etc.

Any snappy ideas on how to address this without sounding like grumpy cat?
