If a mother taking thyroid medication
takes fenugreek for low supply, she might be reducing the effectiveness of her
thyroid medication....
**********************************

However, if a mother taking thyroid medication doesn't take it on an empty
stomach and takes it with either birth control pills, or vitamins, or
antidepressants, or ANY other medication it can reduce the effectiveness of the thyroid
medication.

I'd love to have the citation/copy of the article for the statement that
"this substance can interfere with the actions of almost every drug." That would
be very important for all of us that are recommending fenugreek or More Milk
Plus for low milk supply. Can you share that? Is there any way I can get the
data? Did the article/speaker say HOW fenugreek interfered? If used as a
flavoring, does it interfere, or only if used in large quantities such as
increasing milk supply? Do you know how many and what drugs fenugreek was tested
with, and what the results were? Did it decrease effectiveness, of, say, birth
control pills like St. John's Wort and antibiotics do?

Whew -- a bit of a bombshell there!

Thanks, Nikki.
