I have been vaguely familiar with the R.I.F. program, short for "Reading is
Fundamental", a program to promote literacy to children and schools in the USA.
 My daughters have come home from school about once a month w/ a new
paperback book that they got to choose through the RIF program.  Something caught my
eye at the bottom of one of the papers from school, a Nestle logo.  I
researched on the internet and sure enough, they are one of the major sponsors of the
program.
