I think part of the point about smoking by parent(s) is that smoking smells
like home whether you are BF or Bot fed.  Or any other smell that you
connect with warm fuzzy feelings.  Over the years I've noticed that
different homes have different smells for whatever reason.  I'm sure these
smells speak to their family members and mean "home".  I think it is a real
stretch  to say that a child will grow up and become a smoker just because
mom smoked and BF.  What about the feelings that mom would sit down, take a
break and talk while she had a smoke? Remember, multiple, complex and
interrelated.  And of course the message needs to  be Don't smoke - not
Don't BF.  But in our typical   turn everything upside down way of
