My own personal experience (too personal, I am afraid) of a baby with a
blood clot in stool (this was a largeish one about walnut sized or a bit
better) was my own child who at 10 mo had an intussusception...a
strangulation of the intesting..fatal if not treated. She is fine now, but
if there are clots, one should consider this possibility.

PS I also heard that the PNS pump now carries with it a one year warranty. I
was happy to hear that.
