Judy K. wrote re concern about botulism from putting honey in an open wound.
 I think it's only infants and children (under 2 years, maybe?) who are
susceptible to the botulism carried in honey.  Several years ago one of our
physicians talked about using honey in an incision that wasn't healing, but I
don't think anything ever came of it. It's interesting to hear that it does
work.
